My research is focused on biological oceanography, paleoceanography and paleoclimatology. 

I have specialized on the study of the ecology of benthic foraminifera in sediments assoaciated to the oxygen minimum zone and coastal enviroments from Peru. I apply this knowledge on the reconstruction of subsurface marine (de)oxygenation in the last integlaciation, LGM and last centuries.
